  1. Be respectful - treat every other member with the dignity and respect they deserve despite their age, race, gender, or ability.
  2. Be kind. Always address every community member with kindness. Be careful of your words and be mindful of how they will feel.
  3. Desist from any harassing behaviour - all members should not show any form of harassing behaviour towards others. This includes sexual harassment, demeaning behaviour, or any form of bullying.
  4. Keep discussion relevant - we expect members to maintain relevant discussions with each other that are appropriate to the community's goals and vision. If you’re not sure, you can always ask!
  5. Be compliant with university rules and regulations - we expect all our members to adhere to the university's code of conduct and ethics during our interactions and events on campus.

⛔⛔⛔ What we do not tolerate ⛔⛔⛔

  1. We have a zero-tolerance for harassment, disrespect, mockery, threats, insults, and starting conflicts with members. They include but are not limited to the following: doxxing, hate speech, harassment, encouraging self-harm, terrorism, deliberate intimidation, stalking, and violence.
  2. We do not allow discussions on controversial topics in our community groups. These topics consist of religion, politics, and sexual preferences. These topics are highly personal and opinionated, we, therefore, advise that those discussions be handled in their respective groups and communities
  3. We do not tolerate sharing and publishing of sexually explicit content. Sharing and posting of sexually explicit content on our community platforms are STRICTLY PROHIBITED. We do not tolerate this behavior and doing so will have severe consequences.

N/B: Just because a rule or violation is not listed here does not mean it is allowed. Therefore we recommend you always ask the Core team when in doubt about doing something

🗣️🗣️How to report a violation of these rules 🗣️🗣️

We encourage all community members to stand up and help each other. Therefore if you see any violation being done to another member, please report it immediately.
